Built in 1929, the Koubek Center is a historic landmark of South Florida, now revitalized into a community center to serve the multicultural community. For decades, the Koubek Center has focused on Latin enriched learning, helping Cuban refugees learn English, receive job training, and help Cuban-trained doctors, engineers, and lawyers prepare for their U.S. Board Exams. Today, the center provides the community with works shops, films, art exhibitions, theater performances, and literary events. Through Facebook and Instagram, Mochee has promoted events and provided awareness of Latin culture to the community of South Florida and beyond.
